Modern Slavery Statement

Our commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.

Last updated: March 2026

Our commitment

CORE Teamwear Limited has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour, child labour and human trafficking in every part of our operations and supply chain. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships, and to putting effective systems and controls in place to make sure slavery and human trafficking are not taking place anywhere in our business or in the businesses we work with.

This statement is published voluntarily. As a growing business we are not yet required to publish a statement under Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, but we believe transparency matters to the clubs we work with. We have chosen to hold ourselves to the same standard because it is the right thing to do.

About our business

CORE Teamwear is a UK-based supplier of custom teamwear and kit for grassroots and amateur sports clubs. We design, sell and deliver bespoke playing kit, training wear and club shop products across the United Kingdom.

Our garments are manufactured overseas, primarily in Pakistan, which is a long-established and highly skilled centre for sportswear production. We are open about this: working with specialist manufacturers is what allows us to offer high-quality kit at prices grassroots clubs can genuinely afford. With that relationship comes a responsibility to know who makes our products and the conditions they are made in.

Our supply chain

Our supply chain is deliberately focused. Rather than spreading our orders across a large number of unknown factories, we work with a small, trusted group of manufacturing partners so that we can build genuine, long-term relationships and maintain real visibility over how and where our products are made.

We expect every partner in our supply chain to comply with the laws of their country, to treat their workers fairly and with dignity, and to provide safe working conditions, fair pay and reasonable hours. We prohibit the use of forced, bonded or child labour by any supplier we work with.

Due diligence and the steps we take

To identify and reduce the risk of modern slavery in our supply chain, we take the following steps:

  • We work only with established manufacturers whose facilities and workforce we can identify, rather than anonymous third-party brokers.
  • We build long-term, direct relationships with our partners so that expectations around working conditions are clearly understood and consistently applied.
  • We make clear to our suppliers that fair treatment of workers, safe conditions and the prohibition of forced and child labour are non-negotiable conditions of working with us.
  • We keep our supply chain small and focused so that we can maintain meaningful oversight rather than relying on scale.
  • We keep our approach under review and aim to strengthen our checks, documentation and supplier assurances as our business grows.

Our people

Within our own UK operations, every member of the CORE team is employed lawfully, paid fairly and treated with respect. We comply with UK employment law, including the National Minimum Wage and Working Time regulations, and everyone who works for us has the right to work in the UK.

Raising concerns

We encourage anyone with concerns about modern slavery connected to our business or supply chain to contact us so that they can be investigated. Concerns can be raised in confidence by emailing hello@enquiries.coreteamwear.co.uk.

Ongoing review

This statement relates to the financial year ending 2026 and reflects our position as a growing business. We recognise that tackling modern slavery is an ongoing commitment, not a one-off exercise, and we will continue to develop our practices over time. This statement is reviewed and updated annually.
